After receiving her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University, Dr. Lewton went on to attend The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1995.
After relocating to Indiana in the autumn of 1995, Dr. Lewton spent the next 4 years providing on-site eye care to residents of long-term care facilities across the state. In November of 2006, Dr, Lewton opened "96th Street Eye Care," which she later remodeled, expanded and rebranded to "Crossroads Eye Care." It is here where Dr. Lewton has been able to enjoy her passion for her profession, forming lasting relationships with her patients, their families and the community.
